RSV has a significant reputation within the base metals industry for the delivery of the components required for the development of a complete mineral resource project.
RSV’s mining engineers have developed a well-defined methodology for mine access and mining method selection as well as a defined approach to mine design. At the concept stage all mining methods are considered both qualitatively and quantitatively. The methodology for mining method selection is universal across all commodities, including base metals. RSV has in the past utilised this tool for its base metal projects, including chrome projects, across all the phases of study.
RSV has completed projects for Glencore, TATA Steel, ArcelorMittal South Africa and Thaba Chrome Mine.
