RSV’s design team have the necessary expertise to determine the most cost-effective and efficient solution in selecting, specifying, procuring, installing and commissioning of all winding plant, capital equipment, including:

• Selection of single drum, double drum, BMR or Koepe friction winder, ground or tower mounted.
• Optimisation of shaft cross section and conveyance configuration
• Selection of hoist ropes
• Trade-off studies comparing fixed shaft guides versus guide ropes.
• Selection of rope handling and tensioning equipment
• System evaluation and optimisation of older existing installations, suitability condition assessments, and code compliance evaluation
• 3rd party quality inspections on winding plant components per approved QCP’s
