RSV has a significant reputation within the gold, platinum and base metals industry for the delivery of the components required for the development of a complete mineral resource project.

We have compiled competent and qualified persons’ reports and completed economic assessments. We have also completed due diligence studies for some of our clients.

Deep level gold mining has its unique challenges with respect to underground environmental and geotechnical requirements, which our engineers are well aware of and have supplied our clients with unique solutions in many instances.

Access to the orebody can be in a variety of forms such as open pits, open casts, declines – trackless, tracked, hoisting and conveyor, vertical shafts and sub-declines and sub-shafts. RSV has expertise in all of the access methods. RSV specialises in mining design with the focus on “total shaft” projects.  From the choice of headgear to the selection of winders and winding plant, collars and linings, we constantly develop and apply new methods to maximise productivity and minimise cost.
